WHATS INVOLVED?

Whilst Muay Thai’s history is in fighting and forms the foundation of the sport, our members enjoy the community, comradery and fitness benefits MTC provides.

GENERAL

General classes works on basic techniques, increased fitness and are aimed at beginners through to your more advanced guys. It is the perfect class if you are new to our club and will give you a great workout!
15 yrs and older

Tuesday 6:10pm – 7:00pm

Thursday 6:10pm – 7:00pm

MIXED

Mixed classes exactly that – mixed in both ability and open to both men and woman.
This is the class where we practice what we have learnt over the week on each other in a controlled safe environment

Saturday 9:30am – 10:30am

boxing fitness

Boxfit style class working on boxing techniques to sharpen those hands. This will be a fast paced class jumping straight into pad and bag work. Suitable for all levels of fitness working at your own pace to get a great workout in

Monday  6:30 pm - 7:15 pm 

Wednesday  6:30 pm - 7:15 pm

SPARRING Times

 

These are the sparing times available to you if you chose.

Great way to practice what we have learnt and apply it in a real life situation. Sparing is controlled and over looked by staff members

Wednesday 7:15 pm – 8:00 pm

Saturday 10:40 am – 11:30 am

Open Gym

This is a chance to use the Gym to do your own training. With access to our Boxing ring, weights and conditioning equipment, Boxing bags, Thai pads, foccuss mitts, kick sheilds, belly pads and much more!
This is the best way to achieve your fitness and Muay Thai goals witha ccess to all of the above, which will improve you on your Muay Thai Journey!

Fighters training

Friday night fighters class.  *Invite only

 

Friday 6:00pm – 7:30pm

ADVANCED

Advanced classes follow on from the General Classes and focus more in depth on technique and skills as well as holding a higher level of fitness.
*General Class must be completed prior to moving to the advanced

 

Tuesday 7:10pm – 8:10pm

kids/youth classes

kids classes are suitable for 8-15yrs. This is a great way for younger people to learn the Art of Muay Thai, some great skills in a controlled safe environment

Tuesday 5:15pm – 6:00pm

Thursday 5:15pm – 6:00pm

Clinch work and Technical sparing 30%

This is the class where you will learn the Art of Clinch if you dont know you need to know. Clinch is a overlooked and fundamental part of Muay. You will also learn how elbows are applied in a controlled and safe manner.

If you chose to partake there is technical sparing at 30% This ensures us a chance to practice sparing, work on new techniques in the safest way possible

 

Monday 7:15pm – 8:00pm

boot camp.Strength & Conditioning

30 min workouts. Short, sharp and explosive aimed at having you in and out of the gym in 30 minutes.
This class will get your body conditioned to meet your goals and have you fight ready!

Monday 6:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Wednesday  6:00 pm - 6:30 pm 

Muay Mornings 

Muay Morning class is where we will focus on fundamental techniques. Improving kicks, teep's, punches and elbows. This class is designed to get your fundamental techniques to the next level!

Friday 6:10am – 7:00am

PERSONAL TRAINING

Personal training  sessions are available with our coaches for both members and non members. These are strictly by appointment and cater for all abilities and stages.

MEMBERS                $40 (30 minutes)     $60 (45 minutes)

NON MEMBERS      $60 (30 minutes)     $80 (45 minutes)
